Peshawar: Two new cases of Polio virus have been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to Radio Pakistan, the Emergency Operation Center confirmed polio virus in two children from DI Khan and Laki Marwat. With these new cases, the number of polio cases in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has reached nine for the current year. Meanwhile, the number of reported polio virus cases across the country has climbed to forty-five. This includes twenty-two cases from Balochistan, twelve from Sindh, and one each from Punjab and Islamabad.
