Transport System in Sindh Undergoing Modern Revamp: Sharjeel


Karachi: Senior Minister of Sindh, Sharjeel Inam Memon, announced that the transport system in the province is being revamped on modern lines to facilitate the people of Sindh.



According to Radio Pakistan, during a media briefing in Karachi, Sharjeel Inam Memon revealed that five hundred new buses are set to be integrated into the province’s transport network. This initiative aims to modernize the existing system and enhance the commuting experience for the residents.



Furthermore, Memon highlighted plans to expand the pink bus service to other parts of the province. This service is specifically designed to provide women with safer and more modern transport options, reflecting the government’s commitment to improving public transport access for all demographics.



In addition, the minister provided updates on various Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects currently underway in Karachi. He assured that efforts are being made to eliminate any obstacles hindering the progress of these projects, as part of a broader strategy to improve urban mobility and infrastructure in the region.
