Trade Relations Between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Reach New Heights


Islamabad: The trade relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are reaching new heights with the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).



According to Radio Pakistan, Pakistan’s exports to Saudi Arabia have increased by 22 percent, with the overall trade volume surging to 700 million dollars from the previous 546 million. This significant growth signifies a strengthening economic partnership between the two nations.



Saudi investors have shown a keen interest in investing in Pakistan’s energy, agriculture, IT, and construction sectors. This interest is expected to foster further economic collaboration and development in these key areas.



In the realm of IT services, the export target to Saudi Arabia has been revised upwards to 100 million dollars, doubling the previous target of 50 million dollars. To facilitate this growth, Saudi Arabia has established a help desk to streamline the registration process for Pakistani IT companies.



Additionally, the famous Saudi food chain “Albaik” has announced plans to open its branches in Pakistan, indicating a growing cultural and economic exchange between the two countries.
