Islamabad: The third session of the Pakistan-EU Migration Mobility Dialogue was held in Islamabad today. The meeting aimed at enhancing cooperation on migration and labor mobility between Pakistan and the European Union.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Pakistan delegation was led by Director General Europe, Irfan Ahmed, while the European Union’s delegation was headed by Deputy Director General HOME, Johannes Luchner. Both sides reviewed previous discussions from the 16th Pakistan-EU Joint Readmission Committee and the 3rd Pakistan-EU Talent Partnership Roundtable, which were held separately in Islamabad.
The dialogue highlighted the growing cooperation on migration issues. The Pakistan side reiterated its commitment to the EURA agreement, while the European Union acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in curbing illegal migration. Both parties expressed their intent to implement the Pakistan-EU Talent Partnership Roadmap for mutual benefits.
It was mutually agreed to hold the next session of the Migration Mobility Dialogue in Brussels.
