Lahore: The Thirty-First Textile Asia International Exhibition and Conference is scheduled to commence in Lahore tomorrow, marking a pivotal event in the textile industry. The three-day exhibition, themed ‘Responsible Textile Shift,’ stands as the largest textile exhibition in South Asia, aiming to advance modern technology within Pakistan’s textile sector.
According to Radio Pakistan, the event is a major initiative by the Special Investment Facilitation Council, highlighting Pakistan’s position as one of the top five cotton-producing countries globally. The exhibition seeks to leverage cotton as a significant factor in the growth and development of the textile sector.
Textile Expo 2025 is anticipated to welcome participants from over fifteen countries, including China, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, the United States, and France. A noteworthy segment of the event is a special session focused on ‘Technology for Value Addition.’
The conference will serve as a platform for global experts and policymakers to share insights on topics such as renewable energy, the circular economy, and digital reforms. The overarching goal is to enhance Pakistan’s IT and technology industry while transforming the textile sector into a modern, competitive, and technology-driven powerhouse.
