Gujranwala: At least ten people were killed and several others injured in different road accidents in Punjab today.

According to Radio Pakistan, five people, including two women, lost their lives when a truck collided with a pickup near Hafizabad Road in Gujranwala.

In another tragic incident, three individuals were killed when a pickup truck rammed into a vegetable-laden truck in Toba Tek Singh. The accidents did not stop there, as two women also lost their lives in a road accident on Lariki Nehar Road near the Motorway bridge in Daska.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed deep grief and sorrow over the accidents in a statement.
