Teachers, Students of Cadet College Wana Stand Firm After Foiled Terrorist Attack


Wana: The students and teachers of Cadet College Wana stand resilient with a high morale after the foiled terrorist attack by Khwarij.



According to Radio Pakistan, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir closely monitored the operation and emphasized that the cadets are the nation’s valuable asset and must be protected at all costs.



Sources added that the students and teachers say their resolve against terrorism has been further strengthened.



The cadets said they were preparing for a drill at Asr time when there was a bombing and they got to know that it was an attack by the enemies of education.



They said Pakistan Army soldiers safely shifted them from the college.



They vowed that whatever the enemies of education may do, they cannot stop us from education.



Operation Commander Colonel Muhammad Tahir said the Khawarij tried to target Cadet College Wana which is a valuable gift by Pakistan Army to the people of South Waziristan.



He said the timely and prompt response of security forces foiled this attempt.



Colonel Muhammad Tahir said all students and teachers of Cadet College Wana have been safely rescued and all Khawarij have been killed after a vigorous operation.
