Tarar Vows to Deepen Pak-China Fraternal Ties


Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has expressed the government’s commitment to further solidify the strong fraternal ties between Pakistan and China. Addressing the 9th Pak-China Media Forum in Islamabad on Wednesday, he highlighted the significant history and legacy left by the elders concerning Pak-China relations.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister emphasized that this legacy has now evolved into the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, which has fostered great harmony between the two countries. He noted that the friendship between Pakistan and China is reaching new heights as both nations cooperate in various domains, including trade and investment, digital technology, media, culture, and the promotion of people-to-people contacts.



The Minister underscored the necessity to strengthen media cooperation, particularly in the digital field, to create more platforms for sharing successful stories of the time-tested Pak-China friendship. He also advocated for increased people-to-people exchanges to facilitate discussions on the realities of the Pakistan-China relationship.



Attaullah Tarar reiterated that positivity should be the hallmark of Pakistan-China relations and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. He also stressed the importance of discouraging fake news and disinformation campaigns on social media.
