Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar praised the Pakistani media for its crucial role in amplifying the state’s narrative and countering false propaganda from India during the recent conflict.

According to Radio Pakistan, speaking at a ceremony organized by the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors, Tarar highlighted the establishment of a modern “Digital War Room” by the Ministry of Information, which played a decisive role in the battle of narratives. He emphasized that the media’s efforts were integral in safeguarding the country’s integrity and sovereignty, which in turn, enhanced the global respect for the Pakistani people. The Minister noted the collaborative efforts of Pakistan’s armed forces, the Ministry of Information, and the media in this endeavor.
