Batting first, Multan Sultans exhibited outstanding batting performance, scoring 214 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allocated 20 overs. Usman Khan's explosive innings of 96 runs off 55 balls and Imran Tahir's economical spell of 40 runs off 18 balls were noteworthy. President lauds blind cricket team for bringing fame to Pakistan

President Dr Arif Alvi has lauded the Pakistan Blind Cricket Team for bringing laurels to Pakistan besides highlighting globally the capabilities of differently-abled persons. He was talking to the members of the Pakistan Blind Cricket team which called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr today. The President said that through their participation in tournaments, the team also inspired other blind cricketers. He said that during the recent years, blind cricket got special attention and recognition in Pakistan.
