Students Played Key Role in Defeating Indian Assumptions: DG ISPR


Karachi: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, stated that the people of Pakistan, particularly the students, were instrumental in dismantling Indian strategic assumptions during “Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos.” He shared these insights while addressing students during his visit to Jinnah University for Women in Karachi.



According to Radio Pakistan, upon his arrival at the university, Lieutenant General Chaudhry received a warm welcome from both the administration and the students. During his briefing, he highlighted the strategy and sacrifices made by the Pakistan Army to thwart enemy plans during the operation. The DG ISPR emphasized the critical role students played in supporting the army’s objectives.



Lieutenant General Chaudhry also addressed issues concerning Balochistan, affirming that the people of the region are closely connected to Pakistan through shared religious, cultural, and traditional values. He dismissed the potential impact of a minority of terrorists, referred to as Fitna-al-Hindustan, on the strong relations between Balochistan and Pakistan. Regarding Kashmir, he unequivocally stated that Kashmir remains the jugular vein of Pakistan.



During the event, the university administration and female students expressed their deep appreciation for the Pakistan Army’s achievements. The students articulated their strong connection with the army, emphasizing the enduring bond between the people and the military. The enthusiasm among students was palpable, with many expressing a keen interest in organizing more sessions of this nature.
