Lahore: Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohsin Naqvi, hosted a reception in honor of the Bangladesh and Pakistan cricket teams, management, and match officials at the Governor’s House on Sunday. President Asif Ali Zardari was the Chief Guest at the event, which highlighted the significance of sports in fostering international relations.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Asif Ali Zardari expressed his appreciation for the performance of both teams in the ongoing T20 series. He emphasized that the Bangladesh team is visiting Pakistan as representatives of their nation, underscoring the role of sports as a bridge for enhancing bilateral ties. President Zardari also stressed the importance of the younger generations of both countries working to strengthen these connections.
