Dera ismail khan: Six policemen were martyred and five terrorists were killed in a terrorist attack on the Police Training School in Dera Ismail Khan. The attackers, identified as belonging to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Khwarij, launched an assault on the school, attempting to breach its perimeter by ramming an explosive-laden vehicle into the gate.
According to Radio Pakistan, the vigilant Law Enforcement Agencies personnel successfully thwarted the terrorists’ attempt to penetrate the school. Three attackers were neutralized by police personnel during the confrontation, while the remaining two were cornered and eliminated by security forces in a subsequent clearance operation.
During the intense exchange of fire, six policemen, including trainees, were martyred after putting up a valiant fight. Twelve policemen and one civilian were also injured in the incident. The attackers also targeted a mosque within the school complex, desecrating the holy site and killing the mosque’s Imam, who was an innocent civilian.
Sanitization operations in the area will continue as authorities seek to bring the perpetrators of this act to justice. The security forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan, with the support of the nation, remain committed to eradicating Indian-sponsored terrorism, with the sacrifices of both soldiers and civilians reinforcing their resolve to protect the country.
