Sindh Government will provide solar panels to around two hundred thousand households under the Solar Energy Project. This was stated by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah while addressing a news conference in Karachi. He said this will help the households in dealing with ongoing electricity shortage and electricity bills crisis. The Solar Energy Project will be launched with the cooperation of the World Bank to take a step towards clean and green energy. The Chief Minister said under this flagship project, all the government buildings and properties will be converted to solar power. He said the step would not only cut the expenditure but would also help reduce carbon emissions. Source: Radio Pakistan
