Sindh Government to Launch AI-Based Online Training for Teachers


Karachi: The Sindh government is set to introduce AI-based online training for teachers as part of its initiative to modernize the teaching system. This significant step aims to equip educators with contemporary skills and methodologies.



According to Radio Pakistan, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Sindh School Education Department, UNICEF, and Khan Academy Pakistan to facilitate this training program. Sindh Minister for Education Syed Sardar Ali Shah emphasized the provincial government’s commitment to innovation and quality within the education sector during the signing ceremony.



The pilot project will train approximately 3,500 teachers from the regions of Dadu, Tando Allahyar, Tharparkar, and Umerkot. This training is scheduled to span over six months, providing participants with the necessary tools and knowledge to enhance their teaching capabilities and adapt to modern educational demands.
