Islamabad: The Sindh Cabinet has approved over nine hundred and sixty-four million rupees for the purchase of buses intended to enhance public transport services.
According to Radio Pakistan, the decision was made during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi. In addition to the bus purchase, the cabinet sanctioned two hundred million rupees for the organization of the Southeast Asia Regional Conference to be held in the Sindh Assembly.
Furthermore, the cabinet has allocated six point six billion rupees for the construction of a one hundred and five-kilometer-long railway line stretching from Islamkot to Chhore and from Bin Qasim to Port Qasim. This railway project aims to improve the transportation of Thar coal, facilitating more efficient and cost-effective logistics.
