Sikh Yatrees Express Profound Joy on Visiting Sacred Land of Baba Guru Nanak


Lahore: Indian Sikh Yatrees, who arrived in Pakistan through the Wagha Border to participate in the 556th birth anniversary celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji, have expressed immense joy and gratitude on reaching the sacred land of their spiritual leader.



According to Radio Pakistan, the visiting Yatrees shared with correspondent Qasim Bukhari that setting foot on the blessed soil of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji has brought them profound spiritual peace and inner satisfaction.



They conveyed that the love, respect, and hospitality extended to them by the people of Pakistan are beyond words. The Yatrees emphasized that Pakistan is the land of their Guru, to which they hold deep devotion and emotional attachment.



The Indian Sikh Yatrees appreciated being treated with great respect and honor in Pakistan. They thanked the Government of Pakistan, the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), and the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) for preserving the historic Gurdwaras in their original condition and for making excellent arrangements for the yatrees.



Through Radio Pakistan, the Yatrees appealed to the Government of India to allow a greater number of Sikh devotees to visit Pakistan so that they could visit the sacred places associated with Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji and perform their religious rituals.



The visiting Sikh Yatrees also extended thanks to the Punjab government and the Government of Pakistan for the outstanding arrangements made on their arrival in Pakistan.
