Islamabad: A significant discussion on new provinces, administrative units, and the future of governance was held at the University of Makran, Panjgur. A large number of representatives from political, academic, journalistic, and social circles, along with male and female students, attended the discussion.
According to Radio Pakistan, participants engaged in a detailed discussion on administrative challenges in the country, particularly in Balochistan, and the difficulties in providing basic public services. They agreed on the need to initiate a nationwide, public-awareness-based debate on the issue of new provinces and administrative units.
Furthermore, they stressed the importance of a serious debate on the potential benefits and constitutional aspects of new administrative arrangements.
