Islamabad: The government has announced a significant development in airport operations with the decision to establish separate immigration counters for foreign passengers at all international airports across the country. This initiative is in response to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s directive, which seeks to boost tourism, maintain trade activities, and facilitate foreign investment in Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the introduction of these dedicated counters is expected to significantly reduce immigration processing times for foreign travelers.
