Separate Immigration Counters to Enhance Travel Experience for Foreign Passengers

Islamabad: The government has announced a significant development in airport operations with the decision to establish separate immigration counters for foreign passengers at all international airports across the country. This initiative is in response to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s directive, which seeks to boost tourism, maintain trade activities, and facilitate foreign investment in Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the introduction of these dedicated counters is expected to significantly reduce immigration processing times for foreign travelers. The separation of counters will not only streamline the immigration process for international visitors but also allow returning Pakistani citizens to complete their procedures more efficiently. This strategic move is part of the government’s comprehensive efforts to make Pakistan a more appealing destination for international tourists, investors, and business delegations.
