Islamabad: Thirty-one Khwarij affiliated with the Indian proxy group, Fitna-al-Khwarij, have been killed in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the past two days.
According to Radio Pakistan, an intelligence-based operation was carried out by the security forces in Lakki Marwat District following reports of Khwarij presence. During the operation, the troops engaged the location of the Khwarij, and after an intense exchange of fire, fourteen Indian-sponsored Khwarij were killed.
In another intelligence-based operation in Bannu District, security forces neutralized seventeen more Khwarij during a fire exchange.
Sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored Khwarij in the area. The security forces of Pakistan are committed to eradicating the threat of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country.
