Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Seven Khwarij, belonging to the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Khwarij, have been killed by security forces in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Radio Pakistan, Indian-sponsored Khwarij attempted to attack a Security Forces Check Post in the general area of Shawal in North Waziristan District on the night between May 28 and 29. The attempt was effectively thwarted by the troops, and in the ensuing exchange of fire, six Indian-sponsored Khwarij were killed.
However, during the intense exchange of fire, Lieutenant Daniyal Ismail, a young officer leading his troops from the front, was killed along with three of his men. The soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice include Naib Subedar Kashif Raza, Lance Naik Fiaqat Ali, and Sepoy Muhammad Hameed.
In another encounter in Chitral District, security forces successfully neutralized one Indian-sponsored Kharji. Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored Khwarij in the area. The security forces of Pakistan are committed to eradicating the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country, with the sacrifices of their brave men further strengthening their resolve.
