Lahore: Scottish Open Junior Squash Champion (Under-15) Sohail Adnan has dedicated his recent victory to the Pakistan Army, paying tribute to its meritorious services and sacrifices in the defense of the country. He shared his sentiments during the recording of an exclusive video podcast at Radio Pakistan Lahore with Correspondent Sajjad Parvez.
According to Radio Pakistan, Sohail Adnan was warmly welcomed upon his arrival at Radio Pakistan Lahore by Station Director Dr. Ahmer Sohail Basraa, Controller News Sajjad Parvez, and other station staff members. Renowned drama writer Amna Mufti was also present during the occasion.
In his conversation, Sohail Adnan highlighted the resurgence of Pakistani players in the international squash arena, noting that after many years, they are again clinching top positions in various international events. He expressed pride in seeing the national flag being raised at global sports arenas, indicating that new talent is emerging in the sport once more.
Earlier, Sohail Adnan returned to Lahore from the United Kingdom after his victory at the Scottish Open Junior Squash Championship, which was held in Scotland last week.
