Islamabad: The State Bank of Pakistan’s drive to encourage cash-less transactions at cattle markets continues. The central bank has appealed to the general public to avoid cash and prefer transactions through credit and debit cards for the purchase of sacrificial animals.
According to Radio Pakistan, the initiative is aimed at ensuring transparency and security at cattle markets. By promoting cashless transactions, the State Bank of Pakistan seeks to reduce the risks associated with carrying and handling large amounts of cash, thereby providing a safer environment for both buyers and sellers.
