Mirpur: On the special directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam, and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry visited the residence of the late President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry at Chechian in district Mirpur. They expressed condolence with the bereaved family and offered fateha for the departed soul.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Federal Ministers and Adviser to the Prime Minister paid tribute to the political and diplomatic services of the late President of AJK Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry for the development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and for highlighting the Kashmir issue at the national and international level. They remarked that with the death of Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry, Kashmiris have lost a great politician and noted that he was a leader of high traditions who dedicated his entire life to the Kashmir freedom movement.

Later, the Federal Ministers and Adviser to the Prime Minister visited the grave of Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry. They laid wreaths and offered prayers on behalf of themselves and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
