Paris: Renowned Pakistani folk, sufi, and spiritual singer Sanam Marvi enthralled a jam-packed audience with her soulful performance at the Theatre de la Ville in Paris. The concert was co-organized by the Embassy of Pakistan and Theatre de la Ville, offering Parisians a unique opportunity to experience the powerful voice and rich spiritual heritage of Pakistani music.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador of Pakistan to France, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, appreciated Sanam Marvi and her team for their captivating performance. She thanked the Theatre management for bringing Pakistani music to life once again in Paris, recalling that legendary singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan had also performed at the same venue. The Ambassador lauded Soudabeh Kia, Conseill¨re Musique du Monde, and her team at Theatre de la Ville for promoting international art and music. She emphasized that in today’s world, cultural diplomacy serves as a bridge connecting people, societies, and countries.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch expressed delight over the sold-out concert and hoped that further collaborations in the field of performing arts between Pakistan and France would continue in the future. Speaking on the occasion, Sanam Marvi said that music is the spice of life and we love our traditional music.
