According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the symposium will feature translation into several languages and will be attended by a diverse group of experts, specialists, and officials. These include representatives from the OIC, the World Health Organization’s Ankara Office, the Saudi Ministry of Sports, the Saudi Electronic Sports Federation, the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation, COMSTECH, and SESRIC. Academic participation will also include professors from Saudi Electronic University and Pakistan’s COMSTAS University.
The agenda for the symposium includes four main sessions. These sessions will cover the challenges and opportunities of empowering youth through video games and social media, as well as discuss the positive impacts of these platforms. Additionally, the symposium will highlight the experiences of OIC member states in using video games as a tool for youth empowerment.
