Islamabad: Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, has extended his Christmas greetings to the Christian community in Pakistan and across the world.

According to Radio Pakistan, in his message, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf acknowledged the significant role the Christian community has played in the social and economic development of Pakistan. He highlighted the contributions of minorities in various sectors including the judiciary, armed forces, education, and health, noting their services as unforgettable and commendable.

The Minister emphasized that the teachings of all religions are founded on principles of love, compassion, peace, and tolerance, serving as a guide for society. He remarked that the diversity of religions and cultures contributes to the stability of Pakistan.

Sardar Muhammad Yousuf also reiterated that the Constitution of Pakistan guarantees all political, economic, and social rights to minorities within the country.
