Rehabilitation of Barren Land Boosts Agriculture in Awaran

Awaran:Over 1,147 acres of previously barren land in the Jhal Jhao area of Awaran, Balochistan, have been transformed into cultivable land through the Green Pakistan Initiative.

According to Radio Pakistan, this transformation has enabled the cultivation of various crops, including cotton, wheat, onions, vegetables, and fruits on the newly rehabilitated land.

The agricultural revival is providing local farmers with employment and income, creating new economic opportunities in the region.
