Rawalpindi:An awareness session was held at Rawalpindi Women University to inform minority students about the Pakistan Minorities Welfare Fund Scholarship for the 2026-27 academic year.

According to Radio Pakistan, representatives from the Punjab Governor's Coordinator for Minority Affairs and the Minority Massak Centre provided students with details on support services, facilities, and assistance available to minority communities.

The session aimed to help students understand the scholarship process, including eligibility requirements, application procedures, and necessary supporting documents. Students were also informed about financial assistance schemes available through Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal.

During the event, RWU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Tayyaba Zarif emphasized the university's commitment to promoting student welfare and ensuring equitable access to educational opportunities. She encouraged the exploration of additional scholarship and financial support opportunities for deserving students.
