Islamabad: Rain accompanied by wind-thunderstorm and snow over the hills is anticipated in northern Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad, and Punjab over the next twelve hours. Fog patches are likely to persist in the plain areas of northeast and south Punjab as well as upper Sindh during the morning and night hours. Other regions of the country can expect cold and cloudy weather conditions. According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded this morning in major cities were as follows: Islamabad and Muzaffarabad at eight degrees centigrade, Lahore at nine, Karachi at twenty, Peshawar at ten, Quetta at three, Gilgit at six, and Murree at four degrees centigrade. In the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast indicates cloudy conditions with a likelihood of rain and snow in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while Jammu and Leh are expected to experience cloudy and cold weather. The temperatures recorded this morning were: Srinagar, Pulwama, and Shopian at zero degrees centigrade, Jammu at nine, Leh at minus-nine, and Anantnag and Baramula at one degree centigrade.
