Lahore:Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has given the green light for the establishment of new hospitals and specialized medical institutions throughout the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, the approval was granted during a meeting chaired by the Chief Minister in Lahore.

The projects include the Maryam Nawaz Medical College and Teaching Hospital in Mianwali, the Kulsoom Nawaz Cancer Hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan, and the Nawaz Sharif-Maryam Nawaz Institute of Cardiology in Gujranwala, which will have 268 beds.
