Islamabad: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said the provincial government is providing equal opportunities to minorities in all sectors. Addressing a Christmas ceremony in Lahore today, the Chief Minister lauded the important role played by minority communities in Pakistan’s development.

According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized that festivals such as Christmas, Diwali, Holi, and all other minority celebrations are recognized and celebrated in Pakistan. This reflects the government’s commitment to inclusivity and respect for cultural diversity within the province.

Speaking on the occasion, provincial minister for minorities, Ramesh Singh Arora, highlighted that the Punjab government has introduced the largest social programme for minorities in the province. This initiative aims to ensure that minority communities have equal access to opportunities across various sectors, further promoting social harmony and integration.
