Lahore: The first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Maryam Nawaz School and Resource Centre for Autism was held in Lahore on Friday. The meeting was chaired by Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Special Education, Sania Aashiq.
According to Radio Pakistan, the board approved several decisions aimed at the welfare and rehabilitation of children suffering from autism. It was decided that these children will receive free uniforms, free school meals, and a free pick-and-drop transport facility.
The Board of Directors also decided to provide all modern educational and therapeutic services under one roof.
