Punjab Govt Launches Ration Card Program Worth Rs40b


Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the Ration Card Program in Lahore today, marking a significant step towards supporting the province’s labor force. Addressing attendees at the ceremony, she emphasized the fulfillment of a long-awaited dream to provide essential support to laborers.



According to Radio Pakistan, the program aims to distribute ration cards to 1.25 million deserving families. These registered workers will receive a monthly assistance of 30,000 rupees starting from June 1. The initiative highlights the government’s commitment to ensuring the welfare of its laborers.



Chief Minister Nawaz further stated that laborers are the pride of the nation and play a crucial role in driving the country’s development. The introduction of the Ration Card Program is a testament to the government’s dedication to uplifting the working class and enhancing their quality of life.
