Islamabad: The Punjab government has set a new record by providing loans of sixty-one billion rupees to more than one hundred and seven thousand individuals to launch new businesses.
According to Radio Pakistan, around fifty-eight thousand new businesses were launched during the last three months for the first time in Punjab’s history. This significant achievement marks a substantial boost to the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region.
In this context, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, while chairing a meeting in Lahore on Saturday, directed the completion of the process on the applications under consideration for the Chief Minister’s ‘Aasan Karobar Finance’ and ‘Karobar Card’ schemes. These initiatives aim to support and facilitate budding entrepreneurs in Punjab.
