Punjab Government has issued directives to change school timing to safeguard children and school staff from increasing air pollution in the province. According to the Environment Protection Department Punjab schools will now open after 8:45 am from 28th of this month to January 31, 2025. Meanwhile, Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has advised citizens to wear masks, avoid unnecessary travel, and comply with the strict ban on fireworks.
