Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari has announced that the Punjab government has introduced a new initiative called "Maryam ka Dastarkhwan" during the holy month of Ramazan. This initiative aims to set a new trend by providing meals to fasting individuals throughout the province.
According to Radio Pakistan, the initiative ensures that people observing fasts can access meals in every tehsil of Punjab, where they become "Maryam Ka Mahman." The initiative has been met with a positive response and appreciation from the public, indicating its success and acceptance across the region.
Azma Bukhari further mentioned that seventy-four Sahulat Bazaars have been set up across Punjab. These bazaars are providing essential food items to the public at affordable prices, ensuring that high-quality standards are maintained.
