Punjab CM Vows to Provide Education, Healthcare for Workers


Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has expressed the government’s commitment to provide all facilities to workers. In a statement today, she said that the doors of top educational institutions are being opened for the children of every worker in Punjab.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund has invited applications from workers. Under this initiative, the children of industrial and mines workers will be awarded admission in seven campuses of the Comsat University, with the fees being covered by the Punjab government.



Registered workers are encouraged to submit their applications by the specified deadlines: Islamabad campus by July 9, Lahore campus by July 17, Wah Cantt and Abbottabad campuses by August 4, Vehari and Attock campuses by August 11, and Sahiwal campus by August 15.
