Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the second phase of Chief Minister Punjab’s Green Tractor Program by conducting the computerized draw for the nine thousand five hundred high power tractors.
According to Radio Pakistan, Chief Minister Nawaz congratulated the fortunate farmers who were selected in the draw and personally spoke to one of them, Muhammad Ashiq, via telephone. The program aims to assist farmers with seven acres or more of land, enabling them to acquire tractors with horsepower ranging from 75 to 125.
Under the second phase of the program, a subsidy will be provided on a total of twenty thousand tractors, further supporting the agricultural sector in Punjab.
