Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed to make Air Punjab operational at the earliest. Presiding over a meeting in Lahore, she directed to complete all formalities for the first phase of the project.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to hire modern and comfortable planes on lease for the air service. The meeting convened by the Chief Minister also agreed on establishing the Air Punjab flight route from Lahore to Islamabad.
Additionally, the meeting reviewed progress on the Murree Glass Train project, indicating a broader focus on enhancing transportation infrastructure in the region.
