Islamabad: The public has expressed strong confidence in Pakistan’s effective diplomacy: A recent survey conducted by Institute for Public Opinion Research reveals significant public support for Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts.
According to Radio Pakistan, eighty percent of the public believes that the Pakistan-Saudi Defence Agreement has enhanced Pakistan’s global stature. This agreement has garnered substantial backing, with seventy-nine percent of respondents expressing their support.
Regarding the recent Pakistan-Afghanistan tensions, the survey indicates that seventy-one percent of Pakistanis attribute the escalation to the Afghan Taliban. In response to these tensions, seventy-five percent of the public expressed full confidence in Pakistan’s effective response.
The survey report also highlights that the visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir to the United States has further elevated Pakistan’s global image and prestige.
