Islamabad: Pakistan Stock Exchange achieved another milestone on Tuesday and surpassed the psychological barrier of one lac twenty-seven thousand points during the trading.

According to Radio Pakistan, the hundred index that closed at one lac twenty-five thousand six hundred twenty-seven (125,627) points on Monday reached one lac twenty-seven thousand six hundred and forty-two (127,642) points, showing an increase of over two thousand points in the Hundred Index during the trading.

The upward trend in the stock exchange is a testament to the increasing confidence of the business community in the economic policies of the government.
