Dhaka: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) achieved another milestone today and surpassed the psychological barrier of one lac seventy-five thousand points during the trading for the first time in its history. According to Radio Pakistan, the Hundred Index that closed at one lac seventy-four thousand four hundred and seventy-two points (174,472) yesterday reached one lac seventy-five thousand two hundred and twenty-nine points (175,229) at the start of business today, showing an increase of seven hundred fifty-seven points. The upward trend in the stock market reflects increasing confidence of the business community on the economic policies of the government.
