A meeting of the Provincial Taskforce on Polio Eradication was held in Lahore on Saturday in connection with the anti-polio vaccination drive starting from Monday. The meeting decided to geo-tag the migrant population during the upcoming polio eradication campaign. It was also decided that special teams will be formed to administer anti-polio vaccines to children at the province's entry and transit points. The meeting was briefed that during the polio eradication campaign, over 23.3 million children will be vaccinated. For this purpose, four thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight permanent teams and two thousand six hundred and fifty four transit teams have been formed. Source: Radio Pakistan
