Islamabad: Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has emphasized that the development and prosperity of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are the government's top priorities. He conveyed this commitment during a discussion with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, who visited him in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Acting President underlined that achieving lasting peace in the province is essential for sustainable development and prosperity. He acknowledged the unmatched bravery, sacrifices, and resilience of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in their battle against terrorism.

Faisal Karim Kundi, on his part, reiterated the intention to further enhance cooperation between the federal government and the province, aiming for the greater benefit of the people.
