Islamabad: Only five days remain to book under the Private Hajj Scheme, as bookings will close at midnight on Friday. This was stated by Spokesperson Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Muhammad Umar Butt in a statement on Monday.
According to Radio Pakistan, Muhammad Umar Butt revealed that 44,000 intending pilgrims have so far completed their booking under the Private Hajj Scheme 2026, while the allocated quota is 60,000. As per the approved Hajj policy, all private bookings must be finalized by this Friday.
The spokesperson urged all individuals intending to perform Hajj through the Private Scheme to finalize their bookings with Ministry-approved Hajj companies before the deadline. He emphasized the importance of making payments through official banking channels and advised pilgrims to obtain a copy of their Hajj agreement.
Muhammad Umar Butt also advised that, after booking, the intending pilgrims must verify their details on the Ministry’s website www.mora.gov.pk or through the mobile app ‘Pak Hajj.’
