The Prime Minister has also constituted a committee comprising members of the cabinet to monitor the transparent execution and distribution of this relief amount. Addressing the launching ceremony, Prime Minister Sharif stated that 12.1 million deserving families across all four provinces, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir will benefit from this package.
He emphasized the introduction of digital payments to ensure that the package is executed in a transparent and dignified manner, aiming not to hurt the self-esteem of any deserving person. The Prime Minister also remarked on the success of last year's third-party audit of payments made to deserving people, noting that no lapses or corruption were identified in the process.
