Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended warm congratulations to the government and brotherly people of Bahrain on their National Day today. In his message on the occasion, he emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties with Bahrain through regular engagement and deeper people-to-people contacts.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari highlighted the significant role of the Pakistani diaspora in Bahrain, noting that it remains one of the largest expatriate communities in the country. He acknowledged their contribution as key economic contributors and as a cultural bridge between Pakistan and Bahrain.
Meanwhile, President Zardari has also extended warm felicitations to the leadership and people of Kazakhstan on their country’s 34th Independence Day. In his message, he remarked that the occasion marks the adoption of the Law on Independence and State Sovereignty in 1991, commemorating Kazakhstan’s declaration as a sovereign democratic state.
The President further stated that Pakistan and Kazakhstan share close and friendly ties, which are underpinned by common values and mutual respect.
