Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the earthquake in Bangladesh on Friday that resulted in loss of lives and property. In a statement, the President expressed heartfelt condolences with the bereaved families over the loss of precious lives and prayed for eternal peace of the deceased and speedy recovery of the injured.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari appreciated the immediate emergency measures taken by the Bangladesh government, especially Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus. He acknowledged their swift response to the crisis and commended their efforts in managing the aftermath of the earthquake.

Asif Ali Zardari stated that the entire Pakistani nation stands in complete solidarity with the people and government of Bangladesh in this hour of grief. He emphasized the bond between the two nations and assured Bangladesh of Pakistan’s support during this challenging time.
