Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have reaffirmed their commitment to work together for the stability, progress, and prosperity of the country. This resolve was expressed during their meeting held at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Tuesday.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on discussions about the country’s political, economic, and security situation. Both leaders also addressed the law and order situation and measures against terrorism. The Prime Minister took the opportunity to brief the President on the government’s steps to improve the economy.
The meeting was attended by several Federal Ministers, including Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Azam Nazeer Tarar, and Mohsin Naqvi. Additionally, Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political and Public Affairs, Rana Sanaullah Khan, was also present on the occasion.
